Environmental and Social Governance
There is currently an energy transition underway and Shearwater will be a part of the solution.
Although leading agencies predict that somewhere between 40-55% of the global energy demand in 2050 will be covered by fossil fuels, the petroleum sector will undoubtedly go into decline over the next decades. While there will be demand for our existing assets throughout this decline, we also believe that our asset- and technology-heavy approach provide us know-how and skillsets that are valuable in a number of sectors, also beyond the energy space. We have valuable experience in marine operations, in harsh environments far from logistics infrastructure. We have R&D and manufacturing centres for high-end sensor technology, and we process vast amounts of data every day.
