Ed Hager
Chief Geophysicist - Acquisition
Ed is a Geophysical Sciences graduate of Southampton University. Working in the geophysical industry since 1991, starting with Western Geophysical as an onboard field QC, before spending time in geophysical support, data processing and survey design departments, becoming Solution Design and Modelling Regional Manager for the Middle East Area. In 2014 Ed joined Polarcus as the area geophysicist for the Asia Pacific region based in Singapore. In 2021 Ed was appointed chief geophysicist acquisition for Shearwater GeoServices based in their Gatwick office.

Dave Round
VP – Towed Streamer Acquisition Sales
Dave gained a Geology BSc and an MSc in Petroleum Geophysics at The University of Birmingham in the mid to late 90s before joining Veritas and working offshore. He moved a technical support role in Singapore in 2007 and worked in various technical, sales and business development roles for Veritas, CGGVeritas, Wavefield, Dolphin Geophysical and Shearwater with a focus on the APAC region until 2018 when he returned to the UK. Based out of their Gatwick office, Dave oversees Shearwaters’ global sales activities relating to the towed streamer market.

Marine Business Development Manager – EAME
Chris Newton has 30 years of experience in the marine geophysical service sector, both offshore and onshore, and within organisations providing both geophysical support and Sale & Marketing functions. Based in Shearwater's Gatwick office, United Kingdom, as a Sales Manager, he has a focus on developing future business opportunities with Oil & Gas Companies in West Africa for either Marine Towed Streamer or Seabed Geophysical Surveys.
