WHAT CAN WE DO
Our geophysical expertise, offshore experience and expansive technical resources are relevant and transferable to new energies under development. Take, as an example, finding the best location for an offshore windfarm. Geophysical data packages, including ultra-high resolution seismic, are needed to gain a detailed understanding of the seabed for the safe placement and installation of wind turbines.
Similarly, high resolution seismic data can help identify deposits of seabed massive sulphides (SMS) known to contain energy transition related minerals such as cobalt, copper, zinc and rare earth elements.
