Shearwater launches industry-backed Norwegian Sea multi-client survey

Bergen, 26 August 2026: Shearwater Geoservices AS (“Shearwater”) today announced a new 3D multi-client seismic survey in the Norwegian Sea. The survey has industry backing and data acquisition is expected to commence in August 2026.

The Amazon Conqueror will be deployed for the approximately seven-week survey, utilising Shearwater’s state-of-the-art Isometrix streamer technology to acquire high-quality seismic data across the project area.

“This project targets recently awarded and prospective open acreage, marking our multi-client expansion into the Norwegian continental shelf and adds high-quality backlog for our fleet” said Irene Waage Basili, CEO of Shearwater.
